Multnomah County is one of our region’s largest and most consequential public institutions, responsible for services that shape daily life across our community. With a multibillion-dollar budget, a vast portfolio of essential services, and significant influence over some of the region’s most pressing challenges, the County Chair is widely regarded as one of the most powerful elected positions in the Portland region.

This fall, voters will decide who will next take on that responsibility and help shape the County’s direction for years to come. Join the Portland Metro Chamber for a high-profile candidate forum featuring all three candidates for Multnomah County Chair. The conversation will give each candidate the opportunity to make their case, outline their priorities, and share their approach to leadership and governing.

With consequential decisions ahead for Multnomah County, this forum will offer business and civic leaders, voters, and community members a rare opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, understand the choices before them, and learn how each would approach the challenges and opportunities facing the County.

This event will be held on Tuesday October 13, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Registration opens at 8:00.
