The Metro Supportive Housing Services (SHS) program has grown significantly, with annual spending rising from $52 million in FY 2022 to $255 million in FY 2024, now funding nearly half of the region’s homelessness services. Now at the midpoint of its 10-year authorization, the program faces a critical decision—should the region extend and refine this investment beyond its 2031 expiration or begin scaling it down? Join us to discuss the program’s impact, challenges, and the choices ahead. Your voice matters in shaping the future of these services—how should our region move forward?
