Join us at the park for traditional Native Storytelling! Open to all ages~
Karen Kitchen is an educator, musician, and proud member of the Osage Nation. Based in Oregon since the 1980s, she works with Portland Public Schools' Indian Education Program, supporting Native youth and sharing traditional songs with children.
An accomplished vocalist, Karen performs with the group Border Crossing and has appeared in Native theater productions and collaborations with Painted Sky and The Trail Band. Drawing on her Osage, Cherokee, and French roots, Karen brings rich cultural storytelling and music to audiences of all ages.
