We were founded in 2010\, and are accredited by Clubhouse International\, which is the governing body for over 370 Clubhouses worldwide.NorthStar is open to any adult with a history of mental illness. Our program is built on the idea that meaningful work helps reduce isolation\, boost social engagement\, and form authentic relationships. Members work side-by-side with full-time staff to volunteer in all aspects of running the nonprofit. Through this work\, our members gain important skills and a vibrant community of peers.For our members who have built up their confidence at the Clubhouse\, NorthStar also has an employment program to help members take that next step in their recovery. We would love to talk with your business about how we can help fill part-time positions through our job placement program!\n *Business After Hours is a Member's Only Event*
