Local Portland Bakery DB Dessert Company Celebrates Grand Reopening DB Dessert will celebrate the new beginning with its community on September 28 Portland, Ore. – – Portland’s DB Dessert Company is celebrating its grand reopening after over eight months closed due to a winter storm. “We experienced so much support from our community after the storm and its resulting damage,” said Damala Badon, founder and owner of DB Dessert Company. “It inspired us to not only bounce back, but think bigger and come back even better. We’re so excited to reopen as a true community gathering space.” DB Dessert Company’s grand reopening celebration will take place on Saturday, September 28, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:00 PM. The newly refreshed space will now offer beer and wine in addition to cupcakes, custom cakes and other sweet treats. A new food menu will also include savory options like artisan sandwiches, focaccia pizzas, breads, salads, sliders and more. Expanding food and beverage options was an important part of creating a space for friends and family to come together. “We are in the business of celebrations,” said Badon. “Providing a welcoming space to gather is the core of what we do. We’re looking forward to getting back to spending time with our community.” DB Dessert Company is located at 2624 NE Alberta St. in Portland and is open 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, closed on Sunday.
