Best Buddies is an international nonprofit with a local Oregon presence that promotes friendship and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies partners with local schools and universities to develop opportunities for socialization and inclusion for those with and without IDD by pairing them in one-to-one friendships. Best Buddies also provides leadership opportunities by hosting trainings on speech writing and presentation skills to become advocates for themselves and inclusion in the community.
