From a practical business perspective, you can evade disaster, protect your payments from others’ financial shortages, and avoid the pitfalls of another’s bankruptcy—and still end up first—with a bit of knowledge, planning, and care in managing your stream of payments. In this webinar Miller Nash attorneys will focus on what organizations can do before, during, and after a project to protect against not being paid. Attorneys from our Construction and Bankruptcy teams will address: 

•Favorable contract terms (Ex: “pay-when-paid” vs. “pay-if-paid” clauses) 

•Bankruptcy filings, including lien preservation, proofs of claim, and priority issues 

•Protecting yourself from slow payments, no payments, and bankruptcies 

•Standard procedures & good record keeping
