Join us for a panel discussion with bookkeeping and tax professionals to learn how you can make the scary world of accounting & bookkeeping a little less scary.

This seminar will cover:

  • How best to prepare financially for owning your own business
  • What to know about bookkeeping when setting up your books
  • How to approach business accounting and taxes so you’re ready when tax season comes
  • What options there are for paying yourself and how they differ from a bookkeeping and tax perspective

Who should attend this class? Business owners or sole proprietors at all stages of operation.

Presenters:

Olivia Jacobus of Books by Liv got her accounting degree from University of Washington and her MBA from Whitworth University. She worked in corporate accounting and finance for about 7 years ranging from large fortune 500s business to smaller scale businesses. She started Books by Live in August of 2022. She serves small to medium businesses and aims to make business financial easy so that owners can live their best life.

Yamile Ynostrosa of Brio Accounting has been crunching numbers since the age of 20. She now owns her own Bookkeeping and Fractional CFO firm in Portland OR. Since 2012, she has been trying to debunk the myth that accountants are boring, with only a little success.

Lily Tran is the Founder of TaxUSign, a Washington State firm providing virtual tax help for whatever life throws at you. Lily has over 15 years of experience in accounting, tax, consulting, and advisory services for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and corporations.
