The Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon will host the annual Summit for Sustainable Organizations (SSO) on April 10–11, 2026, a two‑day interactive event designed to unite students, academics, and professionals committed to advancing sustainability in business. Organized by graduate students in the Sustainable Business program, SSO convenes leaders from across the region to explore emerging trends, share practical insights, and collaborate on solutions that move organizations toward a more sustainable future. The summit features guest speakers, hands‑on workshops, and facilitated networking sessions aimed at bridging the gap between academic research and real‑world impact. SSO is built on the belief that meaningful progress happens when diverse perspectives come together. We’re creating a space where students, practitioners, and industry leaders can learn from one another and build momentum for the year ahead.
The two‑day program will take place at the Lundquist College of Business and includes catered meals and a hosted happy hour for all attendees (two drink tickets provided). Participants will have opportunities to engage directly with sustainability professionals, explore innovative business practices, and connect with peers who share a commitment to responsible leadership. The SSO Leadership Team encourages organizations across the Pacific Northwest and beyond to send representatives and share the event with colleagues who may benefit from attending.
Attendees will enjoy coffee, breakfast and lunch provided by the university! The evening of April 10th, we will have a mixer at Ninkasi Brewing Company (272 Van Buren St, Eugene, OR 97402) with food and drink tickets provided!
