Every day, perfectly good food goes to waste while people go hungry. Bridge 13 exists to close that gap. We rescue surplus food from restaurants and businesses, delivering it directly to the shelters and food pantries that need it most.

Since launching, Bridge 13 has rescued over 10 tons of food and delivered more than 15,000 meals to people facing food insecurity in Portland. Donors like Hyatt Regency, OMSI, and the Oregon Zoo have made that possible, along with dozens of local restaurants and businesses.
Our couriers pick up surplus food and safely deliver it to trusted nonprofits like Blanchet House, Urban Gleaners, CityTeam, and Transition Projects, getting it to the people who need it quickly.
Every quarter, we send donors a custom Impact Report showing the real difference their contributions made: pounds of food rescued, water saved, CO2 emissions avoided, and meals served. It's ready-made content for your sustainability messaging.
